We have stayed at this hotel before and chose it again for the beach and for it's proximity to the ruins at Paestum. The hotel's beach is very nice. The patio and garden areas are nicely maintained. If you want a place to relax in peace and quiet, this just might be it.
The hotel needs some major renovations. The rooms are run down and the lighting is poor.

Everything was great, but particularly the staff. Lucia and all of the staff went out of her way to support us with every request - train reservation, restaurant recommendations, bank location, taxi arrangements, postcards - everything we needed. The food was good - we especially liked the breakfast and the setting was great - looking right out at the Mediterranean. The beach was well kept and the beach lounges were nice (they reserve a location for you). Our rooms looked out over the beach and the sea - idyllic! We enjoyed the free bikes and it is an easy ride from the hotel to restaurants and the ruins in Paestum.
We had to leave :(.

The beach front location was fantastic. The beach was spotless and the beach staff were very accommodating and helpful. The young girls on reception were very very helpful.
The restaurant was a big let down. It was very expensive and the staff in the restaurant were not very friendly. Found better meals for the price elsewhere around Paestum!
